National directory · Independent builders
Find an independent custom gaming PC builder near you.
Custom PC Finder lists independent shops that build custom gaming PCs — with factual profile fields you can check, specialty filters for water cooling, small form factor, streaming, workstation and esports builds, and no user star ratings.
Launching small, on purpose
This directory is launching with a hand-verified seed list; growing metro by metro; every listing is checked against the builder's own site. That is a deliberately small starting point. Most independent custom PC builders in the United States are small shops that are hard to find in search results, and padding this page with unverified names would make it look bigger while making it less trustworthy. If you run a shop that builds custom gaming PCs, or you have used one that should be here, the builder submission and correction form is how this directory grows.

Verified listings
Specialty tags are only shown where a builder's own site verifies them. If a filter returns no builders, that means no verified builder in this set carries that tag yet — it does not mean the builder cannot do the work. Ask them directly, and submit a correction if you can verify a specialty.
Why this directory exists
Independent builders are hard to discover. IBISWorld counts 26,312 US Electronic & Computer Repair Services businesses in 2026, and most independent builders are repair shops that also build — which means a search for a builder often surfaces configurator brands and repair listings, not shops that will actually design and assemble a gaming PC with you. The global custom PC builder market was estimated at USD 1.65B in 2025 (PW Consulting), yet the directory field itself is verified near-empty: the only directory-shaped incumbent found in research, LinkCentre, shows just 4 listings in its Custom PC Building category.
This site takes the opposite approach to a ratings site: factual fields, a published inclusion standard, and profiles that say “not yet verified” instead of guessing. Read how listings are included and why there are no star ratings.

Listed here?
One listing on this page is the publisher's own shop. This directory is maintained by the team behind Starbase Computer, a computer shop in South Pasadena, CA — which is itself listed here under the same criteria as every other builder. It receives no badge, no ranking boost and no extra fields.
